There are many references to Jesus as our Shepherd. The words to this song were written long ago. Not until now did I have the means to produce it with some decent sound on my home computer. The words just seem to fit the music.

This is one of my attempts at a more popular, contemporary sound. The words came from my own observation about the lack of attention this portion of scripture seems to get even from most of the saints I encounter. This is a definite truth that should not be overlooked in our christian walk. The next song reflects the same feelings, especially when I recently read Revelations.

This song is very close to me. I remember when I first looked up at the sky and watched the clouds and said to myself to God, "If you made the clouds, the trees and even man, I'm sure you can come down here and help me." I was 16 years old. This song is my reflection of that time and my walk with God since then.

This is my latest song. It touches my heart so much I hurt. I know in this life we will have tribulation, but I'm at a total loss right now and this song reflects it. I hope someone else can be comforted by it the way I am. Just the sound of the soulful music moves me. I'm not the greatest singer or songwriter, but when God gives me a song, I write it down and try to put to music, and I play it over and over again.

These are and many others are songs that I have written when I have been in deep reflection with the Lord. They speak to my soul. The words sometimes come from study, prayer, amidst tears of sorrow and tears of joy. I'd like to get them published (maybe someone with a better voice can sing them, or someone with a better grasp on producing can produce them, but for now, they comfort me. I hope they comfort someone else, then all my work for God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ will not have been in vain.
